Please note that Office LTSC is different from Microsoft 365. Unlike Microsoft 365, Office LTSC does not include cloud-based services like Exchange Online or SharePoint Online.

Important Considerations:

• Office LTSC follows a fixed lifecycle, meaning it won't receive ongoing updates or security patches after a specific date.
• Using older software versions, including Office LTSC, might impact the overall performance and security of your digital environment.
• While Microsoft will continue to support Office LTSC connections to Microsoft 365 services until October 2026, the quality of this integration may decline over time.

• Graphics: Windows OS: Graphics hardware acceleration requires DirectX 9 or later, with WDDM 2.0 or higher for Windows 10 (or WDDM 1.3 or higher for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update). 
  
• Operating system: Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows 10 LTSC 2019, Windows Server 2019, or Windows Server 2022
  
• Browser: The current version of Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox. Get more details.
  
• .NET version: Some features may require .NET 3.5 or 4.6 and higher to be installed.

  • Internet functionality requires an internet connection. Fees may apply.
    
  • Office LTSC 2021 connections to Microsoft 365 services (for example, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online) are supported while Office LTSC 2021 is in mainstream support, through October 2026. 
    
  • A touch-enabled device is required to use any multitouch functionality, but all features and functionality are always available by using a keyboard, mouse, or other standard or accessible input device.
